It's both now.
Yes
Yes we are!
It's about $14 a head, also have the omelet bar. Where tipping isn't required, but its always polite to.
The price is certainly reasonable, especially at the beach.
It was around 9 dollars
Until 2pm
call and ask them
6a-~11a they start serving lunch at 11 both are buffet so as breakfast comes off the steam table lunch is going on. Personally, I would get there no later than 10 so that you still have fresh things to choose from or so you can order off the menu. Those last scrambled eggs on the buffet start to toughen up.
This not a question and this doesn't go to the restaurant staff or owner. But yes, it is terrible food at high prices.
I'll give them 5 stars for the southern hospitality and Southern food. I'm not that picky I just love good food
Food is great and decent prices. No 5 stars as they need to limit number of people in line for the buffet. Small place and us sitting right by the register the people in the line were not distanced enough for me. I don't like some sniffing kid standing a foot behind my wife with NO MASK ON!
If you like burnt bacon, bland gravy, and raw eggs this is the spot for you. Just blahhh
Best place I have been to eat breakfast at simple and freshly made 24/7. And also have great french toast and omelets.
We ate there 3 times for breakfast while on vacation. The food was hot and delicious. Staff was very nice
Went there this morning for breakfast this morning had the breakfast buffet and everything was hot and delicious. The staff was super friendly. Definitely will be back tomorrow.
Lunch was great! We ordered the buffet and there was a nice variety as well as a small salad bar. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Of course, we found this to be true everywhere we went in Gulf Shores.
I love the service here. This is definitely a great place go for breakfast. if you go to a hotel in the area stop by here after your first night in the morning.
Awesome people & amazing food. Also, BREAKFAST BUFFET is an instant YES.
It was our first time eating here. There was a line but they got to us rather quickly. We chose the breakfast buffet and it did not disappoint! It was amazing and the staff was too. We didn't have to ask for anything because our waitress was on top of it and I think she was the only one but she was a rockstar. We'll definitely choose this spot everytime we're here ❤
Just what we needed. Hit the spot. Will return on our next visit
Hazel's is our favorite breakfast place in the area!! The breakfast is delicious and everything you need for a hearty, satisfying meal! There's fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, pancakes, breakfast potatoes, cheesy hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, grits, baked apples, French toast sticks and THE BEST cheese grits I've ever had! Plus, you can build your own omelet, they'll cook it for you and bring it to your table! The ladies are all super nice and welcoming and the coffee's hot and fresh. The locals and snowbirds are always here so you know it's good, make sure and eat at Hazel's Nook!! Breakfast buffet price is about $12, coffee is $2.50.
They are so over charging folks. 3 adults and 2 kids almost 90.00 for breakfast buffet and didnt even have alot to choose from. 12.99 each person and almost 3.00 drinks. Will never go back.
Terrible service. We stopped in here for breakfast. No one ever came to our table for our drink order so we decided on the buffet. Sat down, still no one came over. So we had no drinks or silverware for the food. Everyone coming in after us was greeting immediately. My bf had to flag someone down for drinks and forks. My bf felt that we were intentionally ignored. For the ridiculous price you pay on the overpriced yet mediocre food, I expected at least decent damn service.
Excellent old-fashioned breakfast buffet, a taste and reminiscence of the 'old' gulf shores from my childhood. Good biscuits!
Awesome food and all of the ladies in here running it make it great. Kitchen guys and gals make great food!!
Best service and best food!!!! Love love love ❤️
Was staying at the Island House in Orange Beach and Hazel's Nook was recommended for breakfast. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere of the old building reminded me of an old diner. Can't wait to go back.
This place is AMAZING! The best time to go is 10:30 because you get the best of both worlds (breakfast and lunch) for one price. They switch out to lunch at 11.
Only about a 20 minute wait to be seated. Buffet was $12.99 and advertising fruit bar. The only fruit on the bar was Cinnamon apples! Guy serving the buffett was eating donuts behind the buffet. Place was a mess. Ran out of drinks, waitress never offered refills. Waited 15 min for a check, never got one so I went to the register. Fridge were milk and juice was stored was left wide open. Over heard one of the waitresses saying that the manager never worked, which you can tell by the way the place was run.Food was decent but not worth the amount charged, especially with fruit bar being non existent.
I just walked in with my family. We asked if we should seat ourselves or wait to be seated. The waitress condescendingly said “well I don’t see any seats so I guess you’ll have to wait”. So we waited and no one every came to seat us. We walked out. I hate that cause the food looked great.
Just ate there on Saturday the 30th of May. My wife and I had the breakfast buffet and the food was excellent! Have been eating at Hazel's since 2013. This time they made your plates and had plenty of distance between tables because of rona but service was still great!!
A real greasy spoon of a place. Not a lot of room between tables but the service was good and prices fair.I got the breakfast buffet and the omelet made to order. Certainly plenty of food.A real Southern feel to the food.A good staff works there. The omelet maker was as Southern as they come. Seems like a place which draws a lot of seniors.
Friendly staff, decent food. Has already prepared breakfast bar for those in a hurry. I was disappointed that the gravy was not homemade. Made to order omelettes was my choice for entree. Would recommend this place.
Food came out fast & fresh.. Customer service was great! The staff did a great job of making me feel welcome & taken care of! I will definitely be coming back the next time that I’m in town!
Great food. Service is OK.
Was there yesterday for breakfast...Very friendly staff. Greeted and seated quickly. Had buffet for breakfast. The food was all hot and fresh and had a very good flavor. Omelet was prepared as requested. $$ is comparable and the same to others in the area with this type of food. Would recommend!
LOVE this place! We have been visiting Gulf Shores for years and never knew about this little gem. The breakfast is awesome and the service even better! Some of the nicest people working there. Will certainly be back!
$35 for 2 buffets and 2 orange juices. We only ate one plate each and I really only are half of my plate because I was so full. I DEFINITELY THINK THEY USE MSG IN THEIR FOOD FOR SURE!!!
Great food and service despite a pandemic. Allowed us to eat outside (social distancing) and offered great service.
Super cool staff. And the buffet was amazing. Highly recommended
Always enjoy Hazei's. Been eating there for many years. Never been disappointed.
Best omelette hands down! With breakfast buffet that's rocks with friendly hometown feelings. ❤🐢
All you can eat breakfast, omelet station, super friendly waitress, Debbie, and when you see locals eating here then you know you have come to the right place. Price is a little high but you are in a tourist location so it's to be expected.
Food was delicious. Little bit of wait but well worth it. Atmosphere was great, everyone friendly. Made you feel like you were having a meal with your family. Definitely go back!!!!!
My husband & I spent the weekend in Gulf Shores to celebrate my birthday. We went to Hazels early Saturday morning and managed to beat the crowd there. They have a buffet you can choose from or you have the option of ordering from the menu. I ordered Eggs Benedict and it did NOT disappoint. My husband told the staff what he wanted from the buffet, and they fixed his plate for him. His food was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful and the resturant was clean. We would definitely eat here again!! 🍳🥓
It’s always on my family’s list of places to go when we’re at the beach. We always plan to go there on our way home to have a wonderful breakfast in a quaint little place with terrific food and a wonderful omelet bar. It is by far the best place for breakfast at the beach and worth the drive from nearby orange beach and ft Walton.
Excellent choice for all you can eat buffet in Gulf Shores Alabama area. Best homemade cooking for a restaurant in the Baldwin county area!!
Nice little cozy breakfast buffet with friendly service and simple breakfast choices . Wasn’t dissatisfied at all ❤️
We went this place on 13th. of June at 11:14 am for breakfast. Because of Covid-19, may places in Gulf Shore were closed or crazy full to get breakfast. That's why we stopped to this place. We sit at table B3 and I paid $54.74. The Service was terrible. Service lady was very rude and irreverent. Although we indicated that, we are from Canada, the lady treated us very rudely and unequally because of our accent. She mistook all the orders of my wife's. We told her three times; "toasted bread", but she asked us; "what is that?", That was unbelievable! Neither kids nor us liked their breakfast. My order took an hour and it was awful! What they brought us, all of them was terrible. This experience was our biggest awful one! We certainly don't recommend this place to anyone. First of all, they have to educate their employees how to be respectful to people, and even though it's a tourist city, we'll never forget their sarcastic talk with us because we're Canadians!
I’d rate this place zero stars if that was an option. My family and I came from out of town for a breakfast, but were treated like children. The food is overpriced for what it is and the staff isn’t helpful, and one lady was terribly rude. Do not recommend to anyone, you’re better off going to a gas station for food.
Breakfast food was good, polite waitress went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed. A little to pricey.
5☆☆☆☆☆Quaint Little place!Perfect Buffet! Awesome Food!! 🍽
Before a 6 hour drive, we wanted some good food. We walked in and got in line at the buffet. There were full pans of food but we were told to sit down and wait because they were changing from breakfast to lunch. So we sat down and watched them pull it all. Then we finally got to place an order. After 45 minutes we got up to leave and they brought our food. Almost everyone of us had to send our food back because it was wrong. We finally got tired of sending it back. Nobody ate the raw bacon. We were told our drinks would be free at least. They were not.
We had such a great time at Hazel's Nook. Tammy was amazing and took great care of us. We loved her quick wit and fabulous sense of humor. The breakfast and the service were perfect!
Beats franchise restaurants by miles! Great home cooking for breakfast. Loved it.
I loved the breakfast buffet quality and selection. For a fast, delicious, and economical beach breakfast, it's hard to beat Hazel's Nook.
We ate there 3 times that week. Food and service were great
Amazing little place. Food was so good. They had menus but we are the breakfast buffet. Wife got a special order omelet as well. Great service and atmosphere. Will definitely go back when in gulf shores.
Came with a big group traveling from Texas and was not practical for large groups. Food did not seem very fresh, more like cafeteria / church camp food.
